Despite being the perpetual bottom-of-the-barrel team, the Cubbies have fought their way to the top of the American League Central Division.

Wrigley Field continues to provide fan, family friendly entertainment in the original park.

I wish I could be excited, but I'm a lifelong Reds fan. They are a very young team that fans hope will improve as the season goes on.

Alright guys, and I was just getting to the point where I could wear my Cubbies gear in public.

You are really taking a toll on my ego.

Chicago has some great sites...and really long winters.

I have fixed the word nanny. There were some pretty ugly ones on there, but if we can't say Dick, how do we talk about the Veep?

I don't care so much for the Cubbies, but I love Lou Pinella. He was the manager of the REDS when they won their last World Championship in 1990. No disrespect to the Cubbies. Maybe they can win one this year. Lou is the man.

I am a sucker for the perennial underdog. Piniella may be able to hold on, but they have tough competition and a long season ahead. I also think there is something magical about Wrigley Field in the summer and Soldier/Lombeau fields in the winter. I guess I am just a old fashioned purist at heart.
