Since the MSM won't report this, the "good" news is scarce about the progress in Iraq.
According to icasualties.org, the casualty rate is the lowest since the war began in March of 03.

I just saw on the news that President Bush awarded the MOH to Pvt. Ross McGinness who threw himself on a hand grenade thrown into his vehicle, saving the other four troops while losing his life. I don't think we'll see that one on the MSM and that's a rotten shame. How could the MSM get to the point where their own ideology overshadows printing information like this?

I saw the same report, probably the one on Fox. It made me tear-up that someone so young could have more character than others who have lived so long.
As his dad said--it was a kindergarten lesson decision: Four is greater than one.

It'll be interesting to see if this keeps up. If it does it bodes well for McCain.

It does bode well provided there is some coverage of the "good" news rather than just the casualties.
Fortunately there are more non-MSM outlets for news than in the past, but many people just do not take the time to look past the pablum served up on the big 3 networks, if they watch any news at all.

That will vanish if Obama is elected. Don't think for a second that the fairness doctrine would just apply to talk radio. They'll make sure that all conservative voices are silenced.
